Good morning to you. I've had a pretty good week. On Monday Penny and Greg were invited out to dinner with their son (your cousin) Nick on his birthday. He had invited lots of his friends and we got to go to a Thai restaurant in Leamington Spa, a town not too far away from here and quite close to where Nick and his girlfriend Lucy live.

Well, it was a great meal although I didn't really like the look of the octopus that your uncle Greg was eating. The photo I have attached is of everyone saying "Cheers" to me - you can see where they stood me - inside the container to keep the white wine cool. It was a bit chilly in there to begin with but as the evening progressed it got more and more fun. You can see Nick in the picture sort of in the middle on the left and Penny is just about opposite of him. The girl in the front left of the picture who is raising her glass to toast me and is looking almost straight at me is named Rachel - she was very sweet and we got on really, really well. I quite wanted to go home with her after the meal but Greg and Penny said I wasn't old enough to go for a sleep over all on my own.

Oh well, I'll talk to you next week - Greg says he has a surprise for me this week so I'll let you know what happens.
