And so, on Friday 6 December 2002 an envelope arrived with Greg's Flat Stanley and a note explaining how Greg thought he had become flattened.

This is How I Think Flat Stanley Got Flat:

One day on Stanley's 6th birthday, he thought he could fly.So he jumped off a wall when no one was looking.He became as flat as a pancake.His mom rushed him to the hospital.They said they could not do anything for him.That is how I think Flat Stanley got flat.
