The Week of 19 June 1999

Over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, Penelope Playchute and I were able to tag along on a trip to the west coast of Ireland with Pete and Sally. Although the weather wasn't brilliant, at least we didn't get rained upon and the scenery was pretty fantastic.

Pete and Sally's friends, Steve and Liz Scheurer, had rented a cottage and for some bizarre reason, they invited us to come along as well. Never having been known to pass up anything free.....

....we very rapidly made ourselves a nuisance. This photo was taken from the front door of the cottage. I did say the scenery was pretty fantastic, didn't I?
