The Halls at Home
On a blistering warm day in July, Les and Christine
Hall entertained a number of prominent guests at their Oxfordshire country estate.
In the past they have intentionally organised these social occasions when Greg
and Penny were on holiday but this year they made an error in their calculations
and the Stragnells were able to attend. And a fine afternoon it was as well.

The weather was kind, the Halls had prepared a sumptuous feast and the setting was undeniably pleasant. |

Pen held her own in both the conversing in an animated fashion and in the wine consumption categories. |
| Greg, on the other hand, merely looked tired and emotional. |  |
