This Week's Photos

As regular readers will know, Penny and Greg have endured a multitude of long-term visitors this summer - sisters, nieces, sons (with and without partners). And then, of course, there are the usual house guests, acquaintances and complete strangers to deal with. So, they took themselves off recently for a few days cycling in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Although their inability to follow simple instructions resulted in several lengthy detours and, in spite of the somewhat less than ideal weather conditions, they did have a most enjoyable weekend.

Gold Hill, a lovely little street winding down the hill from Shaftesbury in Dorset. For those who remember, this is the street where the Hovis television advertisement was filmed.

Special bonus feature - swallows on Penelope's pergola.
